We asked Rich to photograph our Austin wedding in May of 2007. We were looking for a photographer who would take pictures that were not staged, just taken as they happened. Rich blended into the crowd and put everyone at ease. It was like he became part of the family for that day. We were very pleased with the final results, now having many wonderful photos of the event with our friends and relatives captured in unguarded moments, having a great time. We can't recommend him enough.

When I first had the idea to open my own gallery in Tyler I knew I wanted to have photography from Richard Maher. I had been framing his work for a couple of years and really liked his style, from his beautiful western landscapes to the intricate detail of flowers and insects. We used Rich for our website, and we've had the most amazing response. We get a lot of comments about the photography and how polished it looks.
